Do you struggle to smuggle your cute summer rompers into the frigid winter? If the answer is ‘yes’, then this post is for you. Even if your answer is ‘no’, I would encourage you read along– for the sake of love.
For this post I wanted to style a romper three different ways for my upcoming Valentine’s Day date. Now, Farhan and I have been celebrating this day together for almost a decade, so even though I want to look HAWT, I refuse to compromise on warmth. I wanted these outfits to be stylish, comfortable, and sexy, and I think I was able to meet these goals with all three outfits.
Check them out below, and let know what you think.
#1 Darling Denim
Inspiration
I am completely obsessed with my denim jacket, the more I wear it the further I fall in love. Since denim is making a major come-back this year, I wanted to focus this look around my favorite go-to-piece.
I completed this look with a black velvet choker, tights, and black suede booties.

Components
- The jacket is from a consignment store, but you can find something similar at Gap
- Romper- Charlotte Russe
- Booties – Forever 21
- Choker- Baublebar
#2 Shine bRIGHTer
Inspiration
A couple of months ago, while visiting Texas I stumbled across the most adorable black and gold sweater. In an another life, I must’ve been a pageant mom because my affection for sparkles is a bit out of hand. I knew I had to have it, and have been head-over-heels with this piece ever since. I wore this sweater for a holiday party, and have been searching for the perfect occasion to don it again. Therefore, the center of this outfit is my sparkly black and gold sweater.
I completed this look with black knee-high boots, modern tear-drop gold earrings, tights, a YSL quilted shoulder bag and a bold red lip.

Components
- Earnings- H&M
- Boots- JustFab
- Romper- Charlotte Russe
- Purse- YSL
#3 Fabulous (faux) Fur
Inspiration
For my final look, I went for a cozy-chic vibe. I believe that a fur vest is an effortless way to elevate any outfit. You could literally throw it over a t-shirt and jeans, and look amazing.
I completed this look with black tassel earrings, a black bodysuit, tights, and the same black knee-high boots as above, and burgundy Marc Jacobs clutch that I bought in Paris. Ooh la la!
